The American Heart Association® Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of hospital. The course covers extensive material in a short time period, thus you will need to study and prepare for the course beforehand. Basic ECG/Rhythm Interpretation and Pharmacology knowledge is expected and will not be taught in the ACLS program.

Course Prerequisites:

• Initial/First Time Students: Current BLS certification (to obtain one, click BLS tab above), Mandatory Precourse Self-Assessment (information will be provided in email), and Online ACLS program (7 hours – information will be provided in email).
• Renewal Students: Current BLS and ACLS certification, and Mandatory Precourse Self-Assessment (information will be provided in email).
